A project, creating novel images of landscapes, seascapes, structures and buildings seen whilst sailing, kayaking, climbing, cycling, walking and working in some interesting places, all places visited and recorded by Jayaargh.
Images are available as Limited Edition Polaroid Lifts, Large Composite Fine Art Prints and Giclee Prints.
The process involves taking apart a polaroid photograph, getting the film emulsion to separate from the front and back and floating it onto another medium, 300gms Somerset White Satin printmaker paper in this series. Amazingly, no chemicals are used in the separation and transfer process, just scissors, warm water, a gentle, patient approach, a willingness to accept failure and for the outcome to be different every time.
